Brian Edwards: Mental Strength, Physical Strength, and The Death Race
What do you do with an adult diaper, a tyvek painter’s suit, a buckskin, and a few porcupine quills? You use them in The Death Race, of course.
We first met Brian Edwards at the 2014 Traverse City Trail Running Festival where he was a participant in the 50k run (his first ever running race!). One of our past Endurance Evolution Podcast guests, Norm Plumstead, told us after the race that he had run for a bit with Brian, and that we needed to get him on the show. Boy, was he right.
In episode 11 of the Endurance Evolution Podcast Brian and Joel talked about competing in The Death Race, mental and physical strength, and how to keep going when things get tough. Listen on to find out how Brian used that diaper, painters suit, buckskin, and porcupine quills…
